“Fantastisch- tolle Aussicht- mega tolle Ausstattung”

A truly amazing lodge with a view of the Crocodile River and Kruger Park that couldn't be better. Only a pity we didn't book more days! For self‑catering everything you could need is available and even more – grills, a smoker on every level, an ice‑cube machine, and plenty else. Thanks to the offered late checkout we got to enjoy some fantastic wildlife spotting. The rooms and the pool are also superb.

“wonderful stay for an extended family in amazing location.”

A perfect stay for three generations – parents, grandparents and little kids – with plenty to keep everyone entertained when not just relaxing. The pool is fantastic, especially for the little ones. A short drive to Kruger Park makes day visits easy. Unfortunately, the building next door is undergoing restorations.

Jacana’s location and layout are outstanding. I’ve stayed at Mjejane in various lodges many times, and the spot never disappoints. Jacana’s river viewing deck kept us glued for hours. On the second night a “visitor” elephant was just meters from the boundary! The game drives were as expected—some had little to see, but on one we spotted the big five within two hours. Our ranger, true to his name, was absolutely SPECIAL, with deep bush knowledge, humor, and the skill to keep us engaged for seven drives.

Everything about this place hit the mark; the location was spot-on, with daily elephant visits each morning, and every need was met—definitely coming back here.
