The location is excellent, not too far from town and great for disconnecting and relaxing in nature.

The place is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we arrived late and were surprised by the quality of the pizza made on site and delivered to the room, and the breakfast is very filling and tasty.
The service was excellent and the place was spotless.
The room was perfect! The breakfast could have been more refined, although it was made and delivered with great care.
The owners were cordial, the location close to the city centre, the accommodation very clean, and the view wonderful; the shower had plenty of hot water. The only complaint is the lack of coffee.

I loved staying at Recanto João de Barro; the chalet was very comfortable and beautiful, the view was gorgeous, and the peace was amazing—you literally felt at home! I would suggest adding a large rug in the chalet and a full‑length mirror; otherwise, I have nothing to complain about—it was a delightful stay! On the downside, the breakfast could have been a bit more elaborate, with some extra options beyond the basics.
