Two dogs, Malania and DJ, welcomed us and seemed to guard the tent from outside, which was nice. The site was in a terrible state with abandoned cars and broken buildings, the tent was moldy and the bedding smelled musty, and there was barely any light. The host never checked in to see if we were settled or had questions; I called but no one answered, and my voicemail was never returned.

We had booked a tent, but it wasn’t ready; the owners immediately prepared a cabin for us at the same price, which was very helpful. We were pleased with the tent’s location and the sanitation. The yard is disorganized and messy, with a lot of unfinished work still underway.
