We landed on the floor just below the lobby, where a man started talking to us and the receptionist began yelling at him; the two of them fought in the stairwell while we were caught in the middle, which made for a terrible welcome. The elevator was out of order. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work, the toilet had no water pressure, and a foul, nauseating odor came from the bathroom every time we opened the door, even from the bedroom.

The property sits in a central area that makes it easy to reach public transport. The room was spotless and equipped with every comfort. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only downside was that the bathroom didn’t have a window.
