“Very nice for a family”

The staff were great, the gym was well equipped, the pools were good, the rooms were clean, and the food was very good and always available. The dinner organization was excellent: each guest had an assigned table and two service staff. Every area was clean, the toilets were clean everywhere, the garden was beautiful and offered many activities, and the indoor pool stayed great even during summer. The location was absolutely great—close enough to interesting places but not in the middle of heavy traffic. Parking was easy and available even at peak hours, though the site was quite exposed to the sun. The room size was decent and the garden view was very nice and peaceful. On the downside, the rooms were decent but very old, the pool was crowded, lunch was less organized than dinner, and the TVs mostly didn’t work (I stayed in three rooms and none of the TVs worked). The tennis tables were broken. We booked a king bed but received a separate double bed instead, which seemed to be the standard for all rooms. The high price made me expect a higher value, but the hotel is old and not very luxurious, so I’m not sure it justifies the cost. For a family stay it was very good, though many rooms clearly need serious renovation.
