“Dirty”
I had no positive aspects to mention, and everything was a disappointment.
“临时过度一晚上是可以的,毕竟香港寸土寸金的地方能一百多住在尖沙咀也不容易。”
The location was excellent, right near Hong Kong’s city center. The room had air conditioning, so nights were cool, and I could stay out late before heading back. I noted that after 12 pm check‑in you need to call, and check‑out is at 10 am the next day. The downside was that bathing was inconvenient: the bathroom was shared, very small, and the room’s soundproofing was poor—I could hear neighbors talking, and the mix of nationalities felt a bit chaotic.
“ザンネン。。。”
There was no bathtub. The sign said the shower water would be ready after 10 minutes, but even after 20 minutes it didn’t come on. The room’s interior differed from the photos, and the window wouldn’t open.
“all good”
I booked this place for the second time and appreciated its proximity to my destination and its affordability; the room itself was decent. The downside was that the bathroom had an unpleasant odor, which made me avoid using it.
They moved us into another hostel, but everything there was great (new international). The room was tiny, exactly what we expected, narrow as a bed, with its own shower, a boiler for hot water, European sockets, and no need to buy an adapter; there was also a fridge (we didn’t use it). The reception was open 24/7, making it ideal for a night’s stay and long walks around the city! The only issue was the lack of a kettle, though I wonder if we could have asked for one.
