The front‑desk staff were very polite and kind. They also gave us the timetable for early‑morning trains that didn’t appear on Google Maps. The station is far and there are few shops nearby, but considering the distance and price from Athens airport, it’s not bad.

I stayed in a quiet part of town, about 20 minutes from the metro station. From there it takes another 20 minutes by metro to Athens city centre or roughly 30 minutes to the airport. The coffee at breakfast, though, wasn’t very good coming from the machine.

The room was very comfortable and spacious after a recent renovation, and everything was spotless everywhere. The view of the green patio with a beautiful, large pine tree was a nice touch.

The location was good. The rooms were small, the reception was lacking, breakfast was mediocre, and the bathroom didn’t meet expectations.
