The place has a very unique location, the building is meticulously cared for, the host is warm and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent.

The breakfast was good and the location is great; the owners are very friendly and attentive. The lack of air conditioning in the room, combined with a heat wave, made it hard to sleep well the first night.

The owners were very friendly. The building is very atmospheric and old—our room was in a 17th‑century structure. Don’t expect many modern comforts; it was built in the 1600s. Expect a historically atmospheric stay.

Chris and Harry gave us a warm welcome. They were very kind, and Chris even came to pick us up at the parking exit with umbrellas to shield us from the downpour. The lunch was decadent, the location was ideal, and we loved our stay… which should have been longer. Because it’s an old building, installing air conditioning is impossible; we felt hot during the night, but we had chosen to travel in August and knew it would be warm.
