“Perfect stay to relax and visit Monsanto”

The hosts and staff were kind and available, always welcoming and ready to help. The location at the bottom of Monsanto is great, with a peaceful, uninterrupted view from the bedrooms and pool, making it super relaxing. Breakfast was very good. The only minor issue was that the shower tray didn’t drain fast enough and leaked quickly into the bathroom.

Everything was excellent: location, rooms, view, peacefulness, infinity pool, and breakfast. The hosts were welcoming and helpful with travel advice. I can’t think of any real negatives; usually there are little things to complain about, but they run a great operation and always look after guests.

“Gorgeous property, lovely owners and Magic Monsanto”

Gorgeous, restored old farm house . Very comfortable and upmarket. Beautiful pool and very relaxing surrounds. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Monsanto itself is a steep but idyllic walk away with incredible views. Monsanto is spectacular, and unique with all the huge boulders. 1. Very narrow lane to drive down to the property quiet but would be near impossible to pass another car. Good parking at the end though. A sign on the Main road would be good. 2. A bit isolated and although they offer breakfast there are just drinks and snacks for the rest of the day. You will have a good walk to a nearby restaurant, or brave the narrow one-way lane in!

The peace. The design. The only issue is the lack of TV in the room.

I went with my sister for a weekend. The hotel is very pretty in a countryside setting, decorated with great taste. We enjoyed the pool a lot. The breakfast was very good. We’ll definitely come back. The only drawback is that I couldn’t stay longer.
