Nothing positive. The place was filthy and dim, with flaking ceilings and stains everywhere, even on the chairs—so I avoided sitting on them or placing our stuff there. The check‑in staff were unwelcoming and unpersonable. This was especially disheartening because Breakers had been our family vacation spot for over 25 years; it was a huge let‑down.

One night was passable, but the hotel looked old and had an old smell; the bed was hard to sleep on. All rooms faced the street, so traffic noise was constant, and one of the pools was dirty.
