The pillows were great

I didn’t eat breakfast. The location is good. The hotel, though non‑smoking, has a smoky odor everywhere.

The location is great—easy to reach and very close to my cousin’s wedding venue. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. It’s a solid spot to crash after a long day. The only downside was the coffee: an extra or better cup in the room, or even a self‑serve fresh‑brewed option in the lobby, would have been nice. The single packet supplied had to be watered down a lot for two people.

The proximity to town was acceptable. However, the entire hotel smells of cigarette smoke as soon as you walk in. Booking a “smoke‑free” room was pointless; cigarette burns were on the top quilt in my room, stains on the carpet, grime on all walls and baseboards, and stained bedsheets (see photos). A ring of scum surrounded the shower, and I did not use that bathroom at all. The door had stains, splatter, and graffiti. The front‑desk man demanded an additional fee for my dog, even though I had already paid for the dog fee on the website; he claimed it was just “their” dog fee, which is unacceptable, especially given the state of the place. I’ve quarantined my pajamas because I don’t trust the hotel doesn’t have bed bugs; my clothes are still in plastic bags.

You get what you pay for. This place would be great and worth more with a major upgrade in appearance both inside and out. The bed was comfortable. The Wi‑Fi is insecure, the carpeting smells, and breakfast is missing. Not much else to say.
