We stayed two nights at this lovely B&B and absolutely loved it. It sits in the Hudson Historic District, a short walk from the Amtrak station and just a few blocks away from dozens of restaurants, galleries, and shops. The place feels modern, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and our bedroom and bathroom were updated and very comfortable. Carolyn, the host, knows the area inside out and was super helpful with suggestions for activities, places to visit, and bars and restaurants. Coffee was available early, and she was engaging, very interesting, happy to chat, share stories (and listen to ours), and laugh. It felt more like staying at a friend's home than a B&B. She also prepares a great breakfast: fresh fruit, along with options like bacon, French toast, omelets, and a variety of breads. I knew we’d chosen a special spot when we came downstairs to the smell of made‑from‑scratch corn muffins that had just come out of the oven. Another day she offered croissants from a local bakery. Honestly, there was more food than we needed, but it was so good it was hard to refuse any of it. I don’t think there’s anything the Hudson B&B could have improved on. Our only complaint was that our schedule didn’t allow us to stay longer.

The location is perfect for walking to everything. The host is delightful, full of suggestions to steer us to good activities and food. Her cooking is amazing and her impeccable taste in decor reflects her background in interior design
