The owner was lovely!
The host was incredible, giving us a lot of excellent information and being extremely supportive. The location is great for exploring Kanazawa, pedestrian-friendly and close to the station. The guesthouse was very clean and tidy.

It was a private house, so the garbage disposal rules were a bit confusing at first, but after getting used to them it was fine. The room was reasonably tidy, the bed sheets were clean, and the price was the biggest plus. Overall it was good. The garbage rules were explained at the start, but the exact expectations were vague, which was confusing. The bathroom was cramped and not very spacious.
