What a great find! After spending a week in the north of Samos island, we headed south and were blown away by the Sunrise Hotel – the staff were lovely, the place was beautifully clean with fabulous facilities, and it’s definitely the best hotel in Ireon. It’s convenient for all the local bars and tavernas on the pedestrianised street; we loved strolling along the front in the evening and sampling all the different eateries. The pool was perfect and never seemed to have more than two people in it. It’s a very convenient spot for getting to Pappa beach, which we visited a couple of times. Great little spot and we’ve already booked for next year! The only downside was a slight cigarette smoke smell in the corridors.
