The best bang for the buck, a nice hotel in a great area, but breakfast needs a quality upgrade.

We finished the season and ended up at the sister hotel “Angela downtown,” a block away; both places sit in a walkable, safe neighborhood with plenty of options, the staff were very kind, and we loved the breakfast, though the bathroom needs renovation and repairs to stop shower leaks.

The spot is perfect for walking to the old town and nearby bars and restaurants, the reception staff are friendly, breakfast is okay, but the rooms need updating—especially the bathrooms, which have some mould around the sinks, the first room’s air‑con is weak and the bathroom tiny, while the second room is fine.

Great price‑quality ratio, lovely service, tasty breakfasts, free drinks in the room, superb location for sightseeing, reception always has someone, and you can store luggage after check‑out—highly recommend.
