The breakfast was excellent, no doubt. Because we were the only guests that day, we could enjoy the facilities better. The owners were very friendly and Fátima took great care in presenting the breakfast. The only dinner we had was unsatisfactory; the price‑to‑quantity ratio was off. There were no power outlets on the bedroom headboard wall, and the parking access was a bit awkward due to the barrier.

“Lovely room in Manteigas.”

A room that felt cozy, with a sleek bathroom and a comfy bed that kept cool thanks to the air‑conditioning. The pool was a real highlight, and the off‑street parking spot was a bonus. Breakfast topped my list of best ever during a holiday. The only downside was the distance from the town center, but having a car made it irrelevant.

“Lamentável”

The lodging was outstanding, the owner was very kind, meals were served at convenient times even when it conflicted with the owner’s preferences, and checkout was flexible, yet after the owner inspected the rooms on Sunday at 13:00 and everything seemed fine, we received a phone call on Monday at 23:00 complaining about a missing blanket, which was absurd given we had spent a lot of time loading our bags after checkout; the accommodation is good, but I’d advise photographing the room both on arrival and departure.
