The Garden Villa was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for an overnight stay or a few days; it had a kitchenette with a coffee machine, toaster, and a Zenith water tap, well‑appointed linens and furnishings, onsite parking, and a hot spa if needed. Its location is very good, close to Taupō, Wairakei Golf Club, Craters of the Moon, and Huka Falls. Our host Ian was very attentive, friendly and welcoming, making The Retreat Luxury Garden Villa the perfect place to stay when visiting Taupō and the surrounding region.
