Terracotta Resort & Spa

The pool, beach, and gardens were beautiful, but on two of our three nights loud team‑building events overran the pool and beach with no compensation, just a “sorry for the inconvenience.” I noticed another review with the same issue, so it seems the hotel prioritizes extra revenue over guests. My room was close to the pool, so I could hear all the announcements. The bed was uncomfortable and housekeeping woke us up at 8 am. I tried to put the “do not disturb” sign on the door but there was nowhere to hang it. The food was okay, but the bread was stale. The booking listed a full spa with manicure and pedicure services, yet I was told only massage was available, again with no compensation, just a sorry. I messaged the hotel before arriving and never got a reply. The staff were not friendly, and considering the money we paid, it was a pretty disappointing stay.

The location is great and the green, well‑maintained grounds give the impression that the staff care more about the hotel itself than the guests, treating them neutrally. The beach is clean and the sea is always wavy. The breakfast was scant.

The garden is very well kept and the bungalows are nice and well furnished. The beach section is beautiful. Breakfast was also very good. The cleaning crew and the male staff at the pool and beach are very friendly and helpful. At check‑in, the lady wanted to keep the passports to copy them, which took 30 seconds—this should be done immediately so guests can take their passports back right away. A woman at the pool bar (with glasses) was unfortunately very rude and arrogant, which is a shame.
