The night clerk was professional and handled the issues I had as best she could. The first room I was given was propped open and a mess, with dog food on the floor, a bowl of water, and it was clear the room was being used but the staff didn’t know; most of the security cameras were out of service.

There was no A/C or fan in the room. It was 100 degrees outside and inside the room every night I stayed.

Everything was bad: dirty, bums, no towels, moldy shower, broken bed, cigarette smell, no parking, no ice in the ice machine—just an awful stay.

The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the strip of bars and restaurants, and they offered a designated parking spot for guests and complimentary coffee in the morning. The front desk was polite and direct, and they never had a problem with a respectful patient guest. Unfortunately, the A/C didn’t work, but I don’t blame the property; all the restaurants and bars I visited that weekend also lacked A/C, so it was just a city‑wide heat wave issue, giving the stay a 5.0/10.
