What was good: 1. The location and view were spectacular – cliffs, river, grazing horses, and a bridge. 2. Overall facilities – a place to make a bonfire, a playground for kids, and a comfortable room. 3. Staff – friendly and helpful. 4. Food – the breakfast was decent – sausages, eggs, homemade cake, butter, cheese, and cooked rice. What was not so great: 1. The heating malfunctioned – only one of the heaters worked, and I froze wearing two hoodies under the hoodie. I had called beforehand, asking whether the rooms were warm and being told that the temperature in the room was 27 degrees; it was not. 2. Toiletries – there was neither shampoo nor shower gel in separate packages; the shower gel was in a tank on the wall.
