The building has a colonial vibe that lets you feel the echo of García Márquez’s *One Hundred Years of Solitude*. It’s a short walk to the beach, so the location is great. The next day we asked for a car to Minca and the driver was excellent. The only downside was that the shower didn’t produce hot water.

The house has that classic colonial charm, but the comfort is pretty basic and the bed feels a tad firm. It’s right near Ciénaga’s center, so if you’re heading to Ciénaga Mágica it’s a solid choice.

This place is a real eye‑catcher—bright colors, lots of flowers, a courtyard, and a nice terrace that matches the photos. The breakfast that comes with the stay is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the sweltering heat; it took hours for the AC to kick in because of the high ceilings. The bathroom was pretty nice, though the tap was a bit faulty, and the floor in the room was dirty.

The hotel has a lovely old‑world vibe and a courtyard that’s perfect for breakfast. The chef is attentive and pleasant, and the view from the top floor is beautiful. On the flip side, one room had a stale smell and the shower was cold. The front desk didn’t really listen to our laundry requests over three days, and the transport options they offered were way above market rates. We also didn’t get a receipt after paying in cash, despite asking.
