“Fantastsic, It was a great find and I can not wait to return again next year!”

The design is great, the atmosphere was very chic and cool, all of the staff were extremely polite and attentive. The room furnishings were beautiful and stylish, there were plenty of towels for the room, the pool, and the beach, and the Molton Brown toiletries were a nice touch. The only downside is that water from the minibar should not be charged, and aside from the small evening bottles, there should be a couple of larger bottles replenished every day.

The location is great, and all the staff members were smiling and happy to help; the receptionists are quick and polite. Nothing negative.

The location is perfect, with a private beach right at the hotel, and the food—both breakfast and lunch and dinner—is amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The gym is very good. The experience was flawless! Nothing negative comes to mind.

“All that glitters is not gold. Mind the sewage...”

From the outside the hotel looks like an Instagram post with white walkways—just that. I booked a double room with a private pool, but the first thing I noticed was a strong damp mildew odor as soon as I stepped into the room. We were moved to an equivalent room, yet it was heavily perfumed and the mildew smell returned, accompanied by a rising sewage odor that came in waves. The room itself was dark; the bathroom and the mirrored basin area were so dim that it felt like a makeshift club bathroom, and the backless design made it hard to reach things. Over the pillow area hung big black straw-like objects that were dusty and creepy. The private pool was a disaster: toenail skin on the steps, discarded champagne bottle wrappers, hairs and bits floating in the water. The sewage stench persisted. I found online that Ornos had a sewage issue the year before, and I didn’t want to wait for it again. I’d booked five nights at the highest season price, but this was not what I paid for. The beach was small, crowded, and the sand and sea felt unclean. When I went to the front desk to cancel, the manager was foul and arrogant, and I had to raise my voice for a partial refund. The lack of diplomacy in customer service was shocking. I moved to Elia Beach and would recommend staying there instead.
