A truly unique Bed and Breakfast with very friendly hosts. The location was perfect for cycling, and I even rented an e‑bike at a small price. Breakfast was delicious, featuring regional products, and the place is very quiet in a nice little town. The downside was that the room is under the roof, so when temperatures hit around 30 °C it was a bit warm.

I fell asleep to the song of the thrush in the evening and woke to the croaking of frogs in the morning – ideal for city dwellers who hate noise.

Very quiet spot near Leeuwarden airport, close to Leeuwarden. The only thing that stood out was the stairs to the upper floor; they are difficult for people with mobility issues.
