The castle hotel is very beautiful, rooms are cozy, clean, well maintained, and have air conditioning. The staff is very friendly. We were oddly almost the only guests in the hotel. The connection to the cable car that goes straight into the center of Marienbad is good. There is a pool, but unlike other hotels it can only be used for an extra fee. I think the price of the hotel is already high enough that the pool should be included. I never would have thought that this would cost extra. The pool was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. The shower in the room is very nice, but the spray from the extra fixtures is so calcified that no water jet comes out. Because of this fixture the shower becomes very small, so even a slim person hardly has space. For such a luxurious hotel I would also have expected a kettle in the room.

It’s the hotel where we got engaged eight years ago and we’ll keep coming back whenever we can; I can’t think of any other hotel like it. I have nothing to complain about.

Breakfast is varied, tasty, service professional and very friendly, dinner excellent with professional service, all staff very helpful.
