The cabin looks very pretty from the outside and is very Instagram-worthy; I think the scenery would be even more amazing with snow. Inside it is simple but very warm and cozy, and it has basic utensils for cooking your own meals, which helps save on restaurants. What I didn’t like: without snow, the location turned out to be a drawback. It’s far from the center, and because of the muddy streets, the uphill and downhill walking was uncomfortable, so we had to spend extra on Uber. Some kitchen utensils were dirty or rusty, the double bed was small and not very comfortable, and we had an issue with the heating; the room got a bit hot at night so I had to lower the heating temperature, which lost pressure and left us temporarily without hot water. It was fixed soon by the woman who takes care of the cabin. I believe the experience is much better with snow. Without snow, I would choose a more central accommodation.

We booked two adjoining cabins for eight friends and it worked out really well – three full bathrooms, solid hot water, and the cabin heating kept us comfortable overall, but the site is a bit remote, accessed via a dusty uphill road that got tricky in the snow, and the mattresses are quite worn and could use replacement.

The cabin was wonderful! The heating system worked very well. Special thanks to Liz for impeccable service from start to finish. We were charged an extra 10 % in person for the remaining balance on our debit card, which added up to more than $40. We weren’t warned beforehand and just found out that Argentine law forbids such a practice.

My family and I loved staying at Cabaña Bosque Del Faldeo! The cabin was comfortable and well equipped, communication with the owner was excellent, and it’s only a few minutes’ drive from Avenida San Martín. I recommend it.
