The B&B in the city center was outstanding; once the small gates opened, it felt like stepping into a secret garden. The garden, veranda, and pool were stunning and delightful. Antoine and Isabelle were excellent hosts, and watching Antoine maneuver a large car through the narrow street was a sight. I would have loved to see him drive a vintage Rolls‑Royce on a paid tour around the area. I stayed on the top floor in a huge bedroom with a bath, writing desk, and great views—like a time‑travel experience with modern comforts. Located in the heart of Senlis, I highly recommend it. The only downside was the sign on the door; GPS points you right to the spot, but you need to look closely to see it. Great stay!

A stunningly restored property right in the heart of Senlis, yet the expansive grounds keep it completely peaceful. Our car was parked safely on the private yard, and our medium‑sized dog was warmly welcomed even at breakfast. There are only two guest rooms; we booked the one on the second floor, which included a fridge and a washing machine. The town itself is small but lovely, especially the cathedral at sunset. CDG is just a 20‑minute drive away. We can only recommend Le Castel Ecossais highly.
