Nice hotel and friendly staff, but it takes a bit of a walk to reach the town.
“Very enjoyable stay in a lovely inn.”
Lovely old inn with stunning sea views. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and the bathroom large. The bed and linens were perfect, and the staff were friendly and polite. However, getting to our room through an external staircase was difficult for older guests like us. Outside noise persisted until the early hours and disrupted our sleep. Breakfast was somewhat overcooked but still satisfying.
The location on the quays and the charm of the apartment!
Wonderful location and view. The house is very unique and surprising, though the attention to detail was lacking and the maintenance of the spaces was poor.
“Unfortunate experience. If you stay here, do not stay in Room 6.”
For BP 290, I stayed in room 6. Despite the advertised stunning views, the room faced a dilapidated wall across a narrow alley lined with trash cans. The stairs were steep and did not allow luggage. The room was unclean, stuffy, and hot, so we avoided using the ventilator because it was filthy and projected dirty particles. Kegs were handled just below our window until late at night, creating noise. From 6.00 AM, we heard employees from your restaurant and the neighboring one handling deliveries. The smell of garbage below our window was unpleasant during the night. We had to sleep with our head at the foot of the bed to avoid the floor being uneven. Black mold in the shower made my wife reluctant to shower in the morning. The breakfast table was dirty, with sugar and crumbs. I asked an employee to wipe it; she said she would, went to arrange the bar, checked her phone, and took 10 minutes to come and wipe the table. By then we had moved to another table. I complained, but the employee did not clean the table, claimed it was clean, and accused me of rudeness. We suspect she spat in our water pitcher. I travel extensively and have never had such a poor experience, especially for a price of BP 290, for which I expected at least basic hospitality.
