“Great get away”

It was close to the sea, so you can hear it when you’re in bed with the window open. The rooms are a good size, and the gas cooker is also a good size, although the grill knob needs fixing. Both bathroom lights weren’t working, the shower head doesn’t stay up right, and the main bathroom also smelled of wee, so I just used the one in the master bedroom. I was surprised that there was no Hoover or a dust pan and brush; I had one in my boot, so I used that. There was a mop bucket but no mop.

“Short stay but would stay longer.”

There was plenty of fresh air and a peaceful stay right on the coast, with pleasant gardens at nearby Sparrows Nest and a lovely restaurant setting.

“Van was ok but lacking equipment. Caravan site was lacking any facilities and quite rough. Won’t be going back”

The layout is nice and the rooms are a good size, but the caravan site was rough, with no facilities. The kitchen was very poorly equipped and not very well cleaned.

The look and location were where we needed to be, and it’s a nice quiet site. It’s close to the goat line for walking. It was great to have a full-size fridge‑freezer and cooker. The shower was a nice size and had plenty of hot water. The sofa bed didn’t have a mattress or bedding to go with it, and by the time we realized this it was too late to contact anyone to report it. Cooking utensils were very minimal, not really enough for an 8‑berth property and catering for 7 of us.
