The building is pretty nice overall, and the room we picked matched the photos on the site exactly. It was clean, and the owner spoke clear English. He was very responsive on WhatsApp, answering all our questions promptly. Since it’s a private estate, we felt safe, and the terrace was gorgeous. The only discomfort was the lack of a shower head – just a rain shower. Walking to the beach takes about 15‑20 minutes without a car, and the nearest market is similar distance; the food centre is a half‑hour walk, with the farthest restaurants even farther. That wasn’t a big issue for us, as we could walk on a safe pavement all the time, but it could be inconvenient for others.

Only the location and the ease of parking on site mattered. The accommodation was not up to standard and old: hot water was cut off the evening after the next day at 14:30 without any word from the owner, an unannounced intrusion for repairs with our personal belongings accessible, the main oven was broken and replaced by a mini‑oven, a dirty fridge that leaked, and stained mattresses… The advertised capacity was false: the mezzanine beds were suffocating and unusable, so we had to relocate six people elsewhere. The outside was full of unmentioned cats constantly trying to get into the house and mark their territory by urinating on personal items, which is also a problem for allergic people. The timing management was scandalous – new guests arrived at 9 a.m. without the house being cleaned after our stay, even though we had a written agreement to leave at 13 p.m. Finally, the communication was deplorable: the owner demanded an unjustified surcharge for the tourist tax (144 € instead of 54 €) without justification, then threatened to use our ID cards in writing. Stay away.

Our reservation was cancelled at the last minute without any explanation or message from the owner. We only received a booking email the day before at 12 p.m.!!!

“Con piccole migliorie sarebbe un posto ideale!”

The property looks spectacular, but it’s not very functional. The garden is wonderful – you can see it and want to live it, take photos on the swing, relax on the sofas – but it’s practically inaccessible because it’s packed with mosquitoes. I suggest installing a system to keep mosquitoes out of your garden. There are several very effective methods that allow you to enjoy this garden wonder, which otherwise is just aesthetic. In the bathroom, hooks for hanging towels in the shower and for hands were missing, which was quite uncomfortable. Another thing I don’t understand is why there isn’t soap in the shower.
