Mable and Danny were consummate hosts, making the stay enjoyable, but the lounge and communal areas were cool in the evening despite heating in the room. The property’s historic style didn’t suit us, though it’s a beautiful spot about 10 km from Rotorua’s centre.

Danny and Mable were amazing, and the villa offered a peaceful retreat with a stunning view of the southwest mountains of Rotorua. It’s a little out of town, but that’s fine for the scenery.

It is a WOW place, amazing beautiful, great rooms, great amazing garden and over all , Danny and Mable that gives you the feeling of being home away of home. It was the best ever.7

I couldn’t be more satisfied! The male host Denny, who once worked at a top‑tier chain hotel, and the female host Mable, who is enthusiastic and loves life, provide top‑level accommodation and service. If you enjoy an English countryside lifestyle, this is the place to be; the garden is meticulously tended by the hosts and is breathtaking, the location is very quiet and convenient, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. Breakfast is Michelin‑level—Mable prepares a nutritious, delicious, and refined breakfast, and Denny’s coffee is professional. The hosts’ warmth and passion for life shine through every morning. The only downside is that I wish I could stay a bit longer in such a wonderful place.
