“Great place to stay in the middle of nowhere plenty of parking”
The room was great, breakfast was excellent, parking was free, and the staff were very nice. I had no other issues.

The views the room was nice came to celebrate my friends 40th birthday breakfast was nice lots of choice. The only thing was no kitchen staff in the evening so couldn’t get a bar snack at tea time had to travel to the nearest shop about 10 minutes drive to get some sandwiches etc if we had known we would of brought our own it’s just a good job we came in my daughters car and not on the train just it stated bar snacks were available until 8.30 but when we got downstairs to bar area was told there was no kitchen staff

The location is excellent, just five minutes off the M62. The decor felt a bit tired.

The breakfast staff were exceptional. However, the bedding was dirty and left on the corridor floor, the room wasn’t cleaned during my stay, the bed stayed unmade, and there were no clean towels.

The room was spacious and the breakfast superb. The quilt was very thin, so it was cold at night and there was no extra blanket.
