The hotel is close to the train station, shops, and the West Highland Way; the staff were very nice and helpful, it was quiet, and they let us leave our bags hours before check‑in. However, the mattresses were uncomfortable, Wi‑Fi didn’t penetrate the pod walls so we had to step outside to connect, the dryer barely dried clothes, and the drying room had no heat—perhaps it was only meant for rainy days, but there were no signs indicating that. The hand dryer in the loo blew only cold air, and on a cold day it turned my hands to ice! (I’m exaggerating, but it was unpleasant enough that I stopped using it.)

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I would recommend this place.

A friendly lady greeted me at reception, and the pod had a TV, kettle, microwave, and fan heater, plus plenty of space. It wasn’t exactly posh, the mattresses were plastic, and a snoring camper outside my window kept me awake all night.
