Nothing was liked. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but this was a total let‑down. I should have been warned that I’d be better off choosing any other hotel, which would almost certainly be better. It felt like a scam. I booked two family rooms at a decent price, and the owner started offering us rooms on the summer veranda? I don’t even know what to call it – no windows, a plastic door… Seeing my confusion, he led me to another building where the family rooms I booked on Booking were. Saying expectations didn’t match reality is a weak statement. The hotel needs a makeover: wallpaper peeling, sockets not working, the bathroom door doesn’t close (not even the lock), there’s a dog smell, the owners seem to have pets, I’m fine with animals but I pay for lodging and don’t want it to stink. The room was dirty – the toilet and sink were unwashed, hair on the floor, a used dental floss holder hanging on the wall, a black spiderweb on the ceiling, and a spider living there. It’s a mess. People charge money for this. I was shocked. When I paid, I never got the 15 lari change; the owner said he had none. After two days of staying, no one contacted me to return the money. He didn’t even ask if I needed a transfer – I have a Georgian card, the amount is small, but I had no desire to leave a tip for this place.
