The location is great and the price is cheap, and if you’re just looking for a place to stay it’s fine; the instant hot water from the tap is a huge plus. The air‑con, however, isn’t great and you can’t set the temperature, so you’re forced to adjust the fan speed instead.

Close to the station and the entertainment district, and inexpensive. The heated toilet seat was broken and unusable (old equipment is understandable, but it’s annoying when it’s out of order), and I could hear every sound from the neighboring room and the hallway—though that’s partly a user‑moral issue.

The service is deliberately minimal, so you hardly meet anyone—just the staff at check‑in—and that can feel comfortable. I accidentally left my luggage inside, tried to arrange a “cash on delivery” pickup via the website, but the response was unhelpful and the staff behaved like a service industry that shouldn’t even exist. The only way to get from the first to the second floor is by stairs.
