Hotel Odissea

A hearty breakfast served by friendly staff made the start of my day. The hotel sits only 50 m from the sea, with a pebbly beach typical of the Aeolian Islands. From the shore you can take boat trips to other parts of the island. Lipari’s center is just a few kilometres away and is easily reached by frequent ferries that also stop at other spots on the island. The Canneto district is noticeably quieter than Lipari center, which feels a bit too touristy with its busy port. My room didn’t have a sea view, but the high terrace offered a charming marine panorama. I would have liked the high terrace to be highlighted more because it’s such a beautiful feature.

Everything was lovely, the two bedrooms were great, and the breakfast was excellent.

The location and staff were good, but the cleaning left something to be desired.

The hotel was basic but the cleaning was superb! Breakfast was good, though a bit repetitive, and it was just a short walk from the Canne tto beach and nearby supermarkets. Unfortunately, at the start of my stay we were given a room and then had to move to the official one… it was a bit inconvenient, but aside from that everything was fine!
