“Clean large room but basic facilities”
The place is conveniently located for our weekend plans at Bury Farm equestrian centre. The large room is clean and the bed is comfortable, there’s plenty of parking, and the host communicated well about check‑in procedures. The heating didn’t work and an electric heater did very little to warm the large room. The lighting was poor, and one of the two table lamps had a blown bulb. Wi‑Fi didn’t work. Coffee and tea were provided, but unlike our last stay there was no milk in the fridge or any UHT pots. No breakfast was offered (we knew that), and there was no microwave to cook our own eggs or porridge. Some of the information on the sheet about local facilities was incorrect – thank goodness for Google Maps!
