The room was spacious and well arranged, the bedding comfortable, and the location near the station is very convenient, only 10–15 minutes on foot from the historic centre. The opaque film on the window is annoying after staying more than one night because we can’t see outside; the window faces a busy street with frequent traffic, so it’s noisy.

We stayed at this place in Monopoli for four nights and it was spot on. The spot is unbeatable – just 3 minutes to the trains, 2 minutes to the local buses to Arbellobello and Castellana, and 10 minutes to the buses heading to Locorotondo. The old town is a straight‑forward walk, no longer than ten minutes. A supermarket is close by and there’s a lovely local patisserie across the street for the perfect Italian breakfast. A great pizzeria is only a few steps away. The room’s facilities were just right: a kettle, tea, a small fridge, storage drawers, and a TV – everything you could need for a pleasant stay. It was very soundproof and the bed was comfortable. The owner, Paolo, was super helpful, which made the experience even better. I’d recommend Dimora Minelli for the best location to explore Monopoli and beyond, excellent facilities, and the friendliest host.
