“Ein kleines Paradies auf Koh Tao – ruhig, wunderschön und absolut außergewöhnlich.”

A truly stunning spot right in the middle of nature. The quiet green setting, the privacy, and the unique vibe blew us away. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy, and thoughtfully decorated, making us feel like we were in a little private paradise. For us, La Cigale turned out to be one of the most beautiful spots on our Thailand trip, and we’d come back any time. The only hiccup was that it was hard to reach anyone on the staff.

The location is fantastic—deep in the jungle yet only a 5‑minute scooter ride to the village. The bathroom is simply wow. The only downside is that you can’t get by without mosquito spray; otherwise the place is fine.

“Tired and not confortable place”

If you like being in the jungle, that's your place. The place is so tired. Many planks on the floor are rotted and the mattress is basically on the floor (and my back was in pain for 2 days as a result). It really left me with a negative vibe of koh tao

We stayed at La Cigale for two nights, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay even for longer trips. The property sits in a quiet spot, surrounded by nature, and has a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view of Sairee Beach. The staff welcomed us and helped book taxis. The downside is the steep climb to the parking and the path to the room, which is tough for anyone with knee problems.

“Für uns war es enttäuschend”

The view was stunning and the bungalows were beautifully set in nature, with a simple yet distinctive bathroom; however, three of us were crammed into a small bungalow where a rock‑hard mattress lay on the floor, leaving me barely able to sleep and waking up with back pain, making another two nights impossible. Communication with reception was hard because it was often empty or indifferent, and I was only pointed to an information folder; I messaged for a mattress solution but got no reply, so after one night we left for another place at our own expense.
