This property is breathtaking. My partner and I booked this hotel as it was fairly near Castle Combe circuit where he is doing a track day today. I am so pleasantly surprised, I booked this because it looked really nice, and I was blown away with the service, polite and attentive staff, the food, the drinks, the room, the comfortable bed and the cleanliness. Will absolutely be coming back here with friends! Thank you De Vere for the wonderful stay!. I have nothing negative to point out!

The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the room was exceptionally well decorated; the staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything was excellent, with no negatives, though I wasn’t keen on the Gourmet Beefburger because it was too smokey and the cheese flavour was too strong – I guess that was just my unlucky choice.

As always, a pleasant and relaxing stay; free car parking is a plus, EV charging isn’t overpriced, the pool and sauna are always welcome, and breakfast was very good. The only issue wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the elephant in the room above me (room 160) was quite annoying, stamping around late at night and early in the morning with no regard for other guests. Also, the wait staff cleared tables before I finished my breakfast.

Lovely property, the rooms were nice and spacious, plenty of parking, a good restaurant and coffee/bistro. The staff were lovely, especially Rory in the main restaurant who was considerate of our small baby and made sure she wouldn’t disturb other diners by seating us in a private area. Thank you, Rory. The building and grounds are beautiful. The only downside was that breakfast only offered a coffee machine; there was no alternative for those who couldn’t drink dairy.
