One of the best rural locations to stay near Ludlow, with beautiful views of England’s Green and Pleasant Land, and it felt like we were inside “Jerusalem.” Everything was all good, thanks.

The Cedars was a real treat – the spot is perfect, rural and peaceful yet only a 10‑minute drive from Ludlow. Julie and Nick welcomed us warmly and did everything to make us feel at home. The place was spotless, comfy and roomy, and we could wander the surrounding land or relax in the courtyard. The full English breakfast was tasty, with plenty of toast, juice and coffee, and Julie kindly added apples, pears and damsons from the garden trees – a generous touch. We’d definitely recommend The Cedars, and if we return we’ll probably stay longer or try the other accommodation listed. Thanks to both of you for helping us unwind in sunny Shropshire. The only suggestion is to point out which door to use when checking in.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful, yet close to Ludlow. Breakfast on the terrace was fantastic, and the hosts were perfect.
