We can’t recommend The Tides enough; after staying at several top‑rated 5‑star hotels, this B&B ranks with the best. From the moment we arrived, service was flawless and every corner of the property impressed. The rooms were stunning, with supremely comfortable beds, excellent amenities, and immaculately clean. The views of Ballybunion were charming, and the location made exploring the town effortless. Breakfast was a highlight—every item we tried was superb, especially the pancakes that vanished quickly from our three kids’ plates. The real stars were David and his wife, who welcomed us warmly, were friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make traveling with three small children easy and enjoyable. We had planned only one night but stayed three because we loved it so much. If you’re heading to Ballybunion, look no further; we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. A huge thank you to David and his wife for making our stay unforgettable.
