The hotel isn’t close to the city center, but it’s worth staying there because the room was lovely, well kept, and full of small details. When we arrived, staff had us fill out a form to choose our breakfast for the next morning. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with a beautiful view of Lake Gregory, and the food was delicious and of very good quality—a great standard for Sri Lanka. The road to get there is steep and narrow; it’s fine if you have a tuk‑tuk or a small car, and we had no problems.

Beautiful view of the lake. The staff were friendly and available, and they arranged a day trip for us. The breakfast was lovely and included.

If you enjoy boutique hotels, you’ll love this place. It’s small, cozy, and has a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and do their absolute best to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is decent—you simply choose from a set menu, and they prepare it for you. It’s fine. The location is excellent, and the balcony offers a beautiful view overlooking the lake, which was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Keep in mind that the hotel is located on a hill, so there is a short but fairly steep walk up to reach it. There is no air conditioning or fan in the room, but honestly, neither is needed because the weather is naturally cool and very pleasant. At night around 14 °C. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a charming boutique hotel with beautiful views.

We were blown away by the gorgeous scenery and the staff’s endless friendliness – we absolutely loved it!
