The room was very clean, including the bathroom, and the staff were very friendly. The downside was that there was no restaurant nearby; you had to walk a long way to get anywhere.
“Luft nach oben”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. There was no air conditioning, a strong odor came from the bathroom, and the furniture, beds and mattresses were outdated.
The reception staff didn’t speak English. According to the description the hotel accepts payment cards, but after trying two (which we used for two whole days to pay in shops, at monuments, parking lots – everywhere without problems) they still insisted it didn’t work and that our card was bad. At the reception they tried to charge us twice the stay price, even though we had paid through Booking. It wasn’t an extra‑large king bed, rather a smaller one. The pool and whirlpool water were quite cold – the description said the pool should be heated. We stayed two nights, we didn’t hang a sign on the door saying we didn’t want housekeeping, but the room wasn’t cleaned, and the trash bin wasn’t taken out. The accommodation did not match the price.
The wellness area was great – the bath was warm and clean. The room was fine, but it wasn’t 26 m² as advertised. Because the hotel was very busy, parking spots were scarce. If you have to pay €7 for parking, you’d expect a spot to be available.
“Wir waren dort schon öfter zu Gast!”
The hotel has a nice spa, small but good! You can choose from various room sizes, and there's a lift. The old town is about a 20‑minute walk away, best with good shoes, otherwise only by car. Unfortunately, dinner is no longer offered.
