The breakfast was huge, and special requests were met. Everything was super fresh, with a wide but not overwhelming selection. The food ranged from large to small dishes, all tasting great. Service was always friendly, and the staff’s good mood and vibe were impressive. The view in every direction was excellent, and the location was perfect. Whether you want peace or company, everyone finds a spot here. I’ll definitely come back.

It was a beautiful stay at the mountain hotel; the view over the Zillertal from the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful! The atmosphere feels very family‑like and welcoming. A hearty breakfast is offered, featuring local products. Thanks to the stunning location, it’s a place where you can leave everyday life behind. Gerlosstein provides hikes directly from the hotel for every taste, from relaxed scenic spots to Karlalm, and even the Gerlosstein wall via one of the trails or the climbing path. There’s something for everyone, and it was nowhere near crowded 🙃 I can only recommend the Berghotel Gerlosstein!

Nice location and a lovely view of the valley! A small ski area far from the big resorts. The slopes are shared with only 3‑4 school classes from the hotel, so the runs are pretty lightly used. The school kids are a bit energetic, so the hotel corridors can get a bit noisy, but after 10 pm it’s quiet.

Das Personal, besonders Lena, unglaublich zuvorkommend. Die Anfahrt mit der Gondel, die kostenpflichtig aber die einzige Anreisemöglichkeit ist. Die Fahrt ins große Skigebiet ist recht zeitaufwändig
