“Esperienza positivissima, location molto bella e personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissima!”
The property is situated in a very convenient spot for reaching both Pozzuoli and Naples, and it also offers a fantastic view.
The resort feels very idyllic, surrounded by lemon and fig trees and a huge garden with a variety of vegetables and fruit. The staff were very friendly. Pompeii is about 40 minutes away. Unfortunately, there were black hairs in the bathroom and stains on the duvet cover. Despite that, it was fine. You can’t get there without a car, which is also part of the charm. When a car approaches the property, you may need to reverse very carefully.
The place has huge potential and could be a true oasis of peace; the breakfast, set under the trees with a very kind and helpful lady, was the highlight of the visit. We chose this B&B specifically because of its description as a nature‑immersed location, perfect for our very small child. In reality, the property held ceremonies every day of our stay, meaning the spaces were completely occupied by these events and we had no chance to use the garden, ending up confined to our rooms like hostages of the communions! I think it’s not right to accept guests at a B&B if the place isn’t truly usable. I had also booked a dinner at 19.45, explaining that with a small child we needed to eat early; I ordered at 19.45 but wasn’t served until 21.30, receiving no reasonable explanation, just a vague and somewhat unfriendly “it’s coming” (it turned out to be a simple pasta dish).
The lakeside location and surroundings are lovely, and the staff are wonderful. However, the rooms could be better maintained in terms of details.
“Idyllische Lage mit netten Gastgebern und regionaler Küche.”
I stayed in a spacious room with a separate entrance, and the hosts were friendly while the food—some of it grown on their own plot—was excellent. The breakfast was generous and free of plastic because everything was made from scratch. The road to the property is narrow and steep due to the geography, but it was easy to reach by bike, and the secluded spot by the volcanic lake was absolutely stunning.
