“Ein schönes kleines Hotel zum Wohlfühlen, genau so, wie es sein sollte.”
We stayed at a lovely, family‑run hotel in a small village above Überlingen, and it was a real experiment since we hadn't vacationed in Germany for a long time. We kept wondering if anything was missing, but nothing was. The hotel didn’t offer everything in abundance, but it had everything we needed: no minibar in the room, but a fridge in the hallway for everyone; a few sun loungers on the terrace, but we always got one; no elevator, yet we surprisingly got used to walking up the stairs. In short, we felt very comfortable and will definitely return. By the way, everything else was as described – we booked massages, used the fitness cellar, the garden behind the house is huge, and the manager, her son, and the staff were all very friendly. The only gripe was the coffee, which we had already tasted better elsewhere, perhaps the machine was just broken – a very high‑level complaint.
