Good spot near the metro and station. The building is modest, offering decent value for money. Staff were friendly and the rooms were of acceptable size. The property looks stuck in the 90s, with dated furnishings and wallpaper. The first room smelled of smoke, but they swapped it for me. Cleaning was a bit rough; I found hair in the bathroom.

The hotel’s location was great—city centre, train station and several good restaurants were easy and quick to reach. Unfortunately, we encountered several serious problems that really ruined our stay. The shower drain didn’t work properly, leaving water up to our ankles, which was unhygienic and unpleasant. The shower tap was very old and needed replacement. The hair dryer was also old and performed poorly. The bed was old, creaked with every movement, and didn’t provide enough comfort, so we slept badly. The air‑conditioning units from the adjacent hotel made a lot of noise all night, making a normal night's sleep almost impossible. Although there was a fridge in the room, it was defective and didn’t work. The safe was also defective and unusable during our stay. A spider was found in the room curtain. We booked this accommodation expecting the facilities to work as described, but several essential amenities did not meet the reasonable expectations for a property. We kindly ask that this complaint be taken seriously and that we be considered for appropriate compensation for the reduced quality of our stay.

The location and room were nice, but the rate said breakfast was included and the hotel didn’t serve it. It was fine but unexpected, as I hadn’t planned time to get breakfast elsewhere.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathtub base has structural failure, and the showerhead leaks heavily, causing significant water pooling on the bathroom floor. There is also a persistent problem with heavy tobacco smoke coming through the HVAC vents and ending up in the bedroom during the night.
