The place is well situated, the room faced the creek, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast only offered scrambled eggs, the dinner menu had few non‑meat options, and the bathroom felt too small.

The rooms are spacious, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and cosy, and both restaurants delivered excellent service.

The location next to a creek is fantastic, and the whole property has been renovated and beautifully decorated. Everything was good!

Everything was great, especially the location directly on Rock Creek. Every room is large and newly refurbished, and balcony rooms boast a huge private balcony overlooking the creek/river. The place is incredibly clean, and the staff are lovely. In‑room amenities include a fridge, wine glasses, coffee, a steamer, and lighted mirrors. The on‑campus Superb Old Piney Dell Steakhouse earned 5 stars in our opinion. Nothing beats sleeping to the creek’s sound! The renovated showers are nice, but their original footprint remains, so they feel a bit small for a large man.

We were delighted beyond what we expected. The facilities are superb, service is great, dinner and breakfast are excellent, and falling asleep to the rushing creek was a wonderful experience. We will come back.
