A bartender at the bar was very welcoming, but the front‑desk staff were far from professional, slouched on their chairs and only straightened up when we approached. A group of rowdy swimmers stole shoes at the pool, and overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The rest stop and cool pool on the vacation road were ideal in the off‑season, and the staff were exceptionally kind, though the roads to Argeles were a hassle to get to.

The torboganes and location were great, but the hotel felt very basic, one of the two rooms had a damp smell, and the breakfast was poor.

We were able to relax and decompress in the calm after a tough year; the room and bathroom were spotless, the view of the well‑maintained fish pool was fantastic, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was convivial, there were no cars in the campground, and the water park was great. It was a shame we couldn’t eat more at the restaurant in September because of limited space or something, the selection was narrow, there were many wasps at the pool, and it’s disappointing that the little train leaving the campground no longer runs.
