The room was extremely small; one suitcase blocked everything. The floor was slanted, so when I put the suitcase on one end it rolled to the other side. The bed was completely uncomfortable; the springs or mattress were worn out, giving me back pain.

We stayed in a lovely spot overall. The bedroom, communal bathroom and shared kitchen were all spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of Soho and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The room was extremely hot during our visit, and while a small fan is provided, it didn't make a huge difference. We had to keep the window open, but as you'd expect in such a central location, it was quite noisy outside. The other small issue was the lack of power sockets. There is only one double socket, so we had to keep unplugging the fan or TV to use the lamp, hairdryer or charge our phones. As two people staying in the room, we couldn't even charge both of our phones overnight. We found an extension lead, but it was only suitable for European plugs, so unfortunately it wasn't any use. A simple UK extension lead would be a very inexpensive addition that would make a big difference for guests. Despite these minor issues, the cleanliness, comfort and unbeatable location meant we really enjoyed our stay, and we'd happily consider staying again.

The shared kitchen area was always clean. The room felt more like a storage space, had no ventilation and was deafeningly noisy until 4‑5 am. I couldn't sleep for two nights because of the suffocating heat. There was no control over the temperature. One afternoon after we returned, we found 7‑8 people in the kitchen smoking and taking everything that was available. We thought only 1‑2 were guests; the others were just intruders.

Excellent location right in the heart of Soho check-in was very easy and the staff were super friendly and super helpful. The room was very small and there is no air-conditioning. The room did have a small fan, but this was not enough to keep the room cool the bed mattress also was very springy with some of the springs sticking out making it uncomfortable

The room was clean and everything I needed for a solo stay of a couple of nights. I was nervous about the shared bathroom but it was always clean and I never had to wait to be able to use it. The only downside was that the keypad to get into the building was very challenging. I was grateful for someone from the restaurant next door helping me a few times
